Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Duties
  • Maintaining communication with companies
  • Checking patients in
  • Obtaining patients statement and vitals
  • Assisting provider as needed
  • Administering injections
  • Various other nursing responsibilities
  • Applicants must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, able to multi-task, strong computer skills, willing to cross train, and a team player
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities
  • Record a patient’s medical history accurately
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
  • Administer injections, clean and dress wounds, draw blood, and assist with other medical care tasks
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing
  • Communicate with companies and patients regarding care and restrictions

Skills & Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as LPN
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress
  • Current Arkansas LPN
  • Bilingual is a plus
