Responsibilities
Licensed Practical Nurse Job Duties
- Maintaining communication with companies
- Checking patients in
- Obtaining patients statement and vitals
- Assisting provider as needed
- Administering injections
- Various other nursing responsibilities
- Applicants must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, able to multi-task, strong computer skills, willing to cross train, and a team player
- This position is a "Safety Sensitive Position"
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Administer injections, clean and dress wounds, draw blood, and assist with other medical care tasks
- Perform drug and alcohol testing
- Communicate with companies and patients regarding care and restrictions

- Proven experience as LPN
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Current TN LPN
- Bilingual is a plus
